Motrin

I recommend Motrin for fever, but it's also helpful for aches and pains, and many sick children will sleep better with some. Please note that Motrin and Advil are the same chemical, and the generic brand is just as effective as either. Chose the medicine that tastes best to your child. Also, even though Motrin is quite common, it is capable of being dangerous in high doses. Keep it out of the hands of children.

You can use Motrin every 6 hours as needed. You can use it alongside Tylenol. Do not use Motrin alongside any other product containing Ibuprofen. Use Motrin only as directed and only at the doses specified. For Infant's Motrin, use only the dropper provided.
